Eco Tours in and around Borneo

Naturally for the finest weeks in a year one has to study the web pages and catalogs,
evaluates carefully until finally-he comes to us.

True it is, if it comes to nature we are the right guys. Stationed in Brunei, we travel
Borneo totally. From Brunei to Kalimantan and Sabah, Sarawak. Beyond, up north
to Palawan in the Philippines and south east to Bali and Komodo. Even to the outback of
Australia.

An overview of our tours:
Brunei, Sabah and Sarawak. Kids are welcome

Famous since 1993, we enjoy the land and people in 4 w/d machines by ferry, train, boat,
plane and on foot. We sleep in rainforest huts, longhouse, 3 star hotels and end in a 4
star resort, in Kota Kinabalu. Climbing the Mt. Kinabalu is on the program, the Orang
Utan and Proboscis sanctuary, as well as Turtle Island.

Limited to 12 persons, it contains virtually all one can expect from such an eventful tour.
Although the tour has expedition character we had parents with kids of 9- 14 years. What
an experience in younger years! It is a tour for the lover of nature, one who kept himself fit
enough to trek a total of 20 km over two days.

Brunei to Komodo by 4WD (from 2008) 3 -5 weeks

This tour leads along the west coats of Borneo, we see the National Parks In Sarawak,
cross to Pontianak in Kalimantan and take the ferry to Surabaya, and further to Komodo,
Back to Bali, for a few days relaxing and fly back to Brunei and home.

Limited to 9 persons, three, we drive usually not more than 4 hours a day. Overnight
we stay in country typical hotels 2-3 star. Meals are taken in local restaurants. Extension to
5 weeks is possible, the journey continues through beautiful Sulawesi. From there by ferry
back to Borneo and Brunei.

The undisturbed Nature of Brunei 6 days maximum 12 persons,
kids from 6 years up are welcome

Should you want the exceptional, and camp in rainforest a few nights, have unique
plants and insects explained by a biologist then this is a tour for you. Are you perhaps
not used to hard fitness training, you are welcome too.

To reach our secluded area in the hinterland of Brunei, we have to use longboats river up.
As far as the boats can go to Sungai Ingai a remote place with a little warm spring.

Imagine how many insects circle around a lantern in the jungle night? You sitting on a
self-made table having your warm meal and enjoy the rainforest noise around you. We sleep
raised from floor on stretchers under canvas. Our cooks take care of your wellbeing.

During day we make guided biology tours (explanations in layman's terms) around the
camp and along the river.

Cruising in North Borneo from 2009 (8 persons)

A catamaran with 4 double cabins is plane to be constructed. This is the ultimate freedom!
Only costal cruising. Nothing dangerous as many shelters and natural harbors are on route.

The Borneo coast up north, we stay in secluded spots during our island hopping, make
excursions, hike the rainforest, do fishing, until our final destination, Sandakan. Explore the
mangrove forests for wildlife, touch turtle island, the warm clean waters of the South China
and Sulu Sea invite to snorkel or perhaps, scuba dive.

Jumper Holliday from 2009 Borneo and the Australian outback 4 weeks

Two weeks rainforest and nature parks in Brunei/ Sabah/ Sarawak Then fly to Darwin and
drive though the outback in a circle before returning home. That is truly extraordinary. Fine
beaches, desert adventure and exploring the hinterland of Australia.
